Dr. Marusin Andrey Viktorovich is a genetics researcher from Russia with extensive experience in medical and evolutionary genetics. He graduated with honors in Biology from Tomsk State University and has been working in genetic research since the early 1990s. He earned his PhD in Biological Sciences in 2001 and has continued his scientific career as a researcher in evolutionary genetics.
His main research focuses on human genetics, especially the study of genetic factors involved in complex and multifactorial diseases. He is interested in how genetic variations influence health, behavior, cognitive functions, and neuropsychiatric conditions. His work also includes the study of ancient DNA, population genetics, and adaptive processes in different human populations.
In recent years, Dr. Marusin has focused on modern genomic technologies, particularly full-exome sequencing and next-generation sequencing (NGS) data analysis. He has authored and co-authored more than 100 scientific publications and has participated in several national and international research projects.
His contributions to science have been recognized with regional awards for excellence in research and academic work.
