Dr. Ahmad Moolla is a distinguished Consultant Physician and healthcare leader with over 20 years of experience specializing in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Obesity. He currently serves as an Honorary Consultant at the Royal Free Hospital and holds academic appointments as a Visiting Professor at Newcastle University and an Honorary Clinical Associate Professor at UCL. Dr. Moolla earned his PhD from the University of Oxford, where his research focused on the complexities of metabolic disease and obesity.
Beyond clinical practice, he is a recognized expert in medical education, holding a Masters in Education (MEd) and Senior Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy. His leadership experience includes serving as a Clinical Advisor for the UK Department of Health, where he worked on strategic initiatives to reduce healthcare variation.
